Total weight gain: up 8lbs since pre-pregnancy
Sleep: good
Best moment this week: our gender-revealing dinner party for sure! It was a blast!
Movement: He is super active!! I can tell he is getting stronger & stronger by the intensity of the kicks :)
Food cravings: still liking applesauce…I can always go for some good avocado or tofu rolls, though!
Gender: BOY!!
What I miss: sleeping on my belly
What I am looking forward to: decorating the baby’s room!
Weekly Wisdom: don’t buy maternity shirts that look like a skirt hanging from your boobs…yuck!
Milestones: 5 months along…half way there!! Wow that is scary :)
From BabyCenter:
“Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He’s also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby’s legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the “crown to rump” measurement. After 20 weeks, he’s measured from head to toe.) He’s swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He’s also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you’ll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery)”.
I wanted to post another picture of my tree because so many of you asked about it. It is 6.5 feet tall, pre-lit, and the best part is I got it for $35 at Wal-Mart! We love it! Since we built an entertainment center over our fireplace, we had a place for a bigger tree this year, so we graduated from our little 4 ft tree to this one :)
