27 weeks

I told Donny this was going to be the shirt I wear in labor and he thought that was hot :)

How far along? 27 weeks…3rd trimester or not? Some say it starts this week, some say next week…
Sleep: it has been great! I still feel like I have all of my energy and I’m not slowing down yet even though people have been telling me that I’ll be getting tired again soon.
Best moments this week: we have been getting a lot of house projects done and that makes me happy :) We [Donny] replaced our bathroom vanity & built shelves for our office. We put together IKEA furniture for the office & bedroom, my mom and I painted an old table & chairs that is now serving as our dining room table, and I started making some serious headway on getting our basement cleaned out and organized!
Food cravings: I still eat jellied cranberry sauce almost every day…I could also drink chocolate milk everyday :)
Gender: BOY!!
What I miss: my wedding rings…it is definitely getting uncomfortable to wear both my engagement ring & wedding band. I can still wear my wedding band on good days, but I’m afraid it won’t be long before I have to give them both up.
What I am looking forward to: girl’s weekend get-a-way next weekend!
Milestones: we decided on a name!! I’m not announcing it on the web yet…but I’ll give you his initials: CJS

From BabyCenter:

“This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds and is about 14 1/2 inches long with his legs extended. He’s sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing his eyes, and perhaps even sucking his fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby’s brain is very active now. While his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if he were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don’t bother him, so just relax and enjoy the tickle”.

I just hope you don’t eat the jellied cranberries and the chocolate milk at the same time. CJ will come out ruined for life. I want to throw up just thinking about it. hehe

This website/blog is so cool and endearing, Kelly. And you look so cute, being pregnant with your little belly :).
I have to say that I really enjoyed being pregnant (except the sick part). I loved the excitement and the hype and the REST. I miss the rest.
Having the baby is the most wonderful and exhausting and painful experience that you will EVER experience. Samantha is just 1 month old now, but it almost feels like a lifetime ago.

Lots of love, Christina

LOVE your new header!
Also, when my fingers got too big for the wedding band, we went to a jewelry store and got a larger, simple band for around $50. Used them both pregnancies, and one day I’ll pass it on to my girls when they uh…expand. :)

Love the new blog layout! Also, you are beautiful, like everyone else just said. Donny’s comment creeped me out a little, though :)
